Internet censorship has been ramping up at an unprecedented level. From European governments colluding with social media site to remove so-called ‘fake news’ to journalists ostensibly pressuring Twitter into suspending users who tweet ‘learn to code’ at laid-off journalists to the infamous ‘NPC’ meme to accurately citing government statistics on crime; since the 2016 US election, we have seen a tremendous narrowing of allowable content on social media.
I, personally, have had posts–screenshots of anti-white hatred, Cosmopolitan articles, tweets containing images of Desmond The Amazing (child drag kid)–removed from Facebook.

Many other users have had their accounts removed entirely for silly reasons other than their dissident views, which pose an ideologically existential threat to the left-wing cultural hegemony enjoyed by Big Tech and other media corporations.
The awesome power wielded by these Big Tech companies in attenuating personal freedoms online has been frightening.
One of the many jokes circling around dissident right-wing circles online, is, that other than boomers, the political left can’t meme. However, this couldn’t be further from the truth.
The political left CAN absolutely meme–and they have unrivaled financial backing in order to do so. The political left’s memeing dominates Hollywood, The Entertainment Industry, The Mainstream Media, Sports, Megacorporations, etc–the difference is, the left cannot meme as effectively online as: 1) there isn’t as much financial backing 2) it’s the last refuge of those alienated and disgruntled by the ‘normie’-dominated real world, saturated by Pop culture, which is unmistakably leftist 3) humor must be inextricably linked to a semblance of truth: on a platform dominated by those marooned by Pop culture, memes closely tied to the worldview spun by a narrative they’ve rejected won’t resonate with them.
How is ‘Honk’ hateful?
Well, it satirizes the actualization of leftist memes. The real world projection of the ideological domination of the political left since the Civil Rights Era has given rise to social movements, events, and behaviors which would otherwise be considered a little wacky.
As society progresses, there is a loosening of one’s view of the crazy or marginalized–society becomes ok with one’s being, who one claims they are.
Many of the current narratives spewed by the Entertainment Industry and Hollywood are comparatively inauthentic to previous ages. Any potential counternarratives run the risk of jeopardizing the sanctity of modern progressive thought.
‘Honk’, ‘Honklers’, and the ‘Clown World’ meme make a mockery of the current progressive order. And a formal rebuttal of these ideas are simply cast to the wayside under a tirade of invective. However, there is no refutation–only censorship–for mocking the realization of progressive views in the real world.
This is why it is deemed hateful: anything outside of the progressive modern framework, by necessity, has to be ‘hateful’ as progress is a message of love, unity, and oneness–except to outsiders.
Absurd reasons are offered for silencing dissident voices, and big banks and other megacorporations have joined in the censorship party by denying their services to dissident activists.
As the social media mainstays backslide down a pit of censorship amid pressure from corporations, journalists, and governments alike; we are only bound to see increasing measures to protect the progressive/globalist narrative in the future.
Ideas contrary to the techno-ideological narratives espoused by Big Tech must go. But censorship is only a temporary fix as a solution to their problem: the truth isn’t on their side.
