Our Disappearing Liberties: Part II

From the womb to the grave, any policy that strips an individual of their liberty goes against everything this country was founded on.

Pop-culture, group think, and government-funded consensuses strip away individualism, initiative, and self-worth.

Popular culture fools people into thinking their music, clothing, phones, and other accessories define their individualism, when in reality, it conditions them to conform to other facets of society.

Here’s a snippet from my Disappearing Liberties article:

Science, history, health, religion, energy, food, medicine, policing, security, media, the internet, education, banking, real estate, communication, and even entertainment has been hijacked and tainted by government propaganda. That’s why the word “consensus’ gets thrown around so often by media. I’m sure at some point recently, you heard or read, “97% of scientists, teachers, or doctors say this or that, so you must believe it.” Government never mentions that the 97% of any consensus works for government, or receives hefty grants funded by our confiscated earnings to promote these consensuses.

In that article, I talk about what and why, but not the how.

In addition to endless propaganda, the establishment uses many tactics to advance (progress) their agenda.

I think we should touch upon fear first. It’s used in many ways to make individuals trade self-reliance for government dependence. Without a shred of evidence, politicians make baseless claims and prophecies through paid mouthpieces in science, entertainment, and the media in order to scare unwitting citizens into begging them to save them from themselves. Recently, freshman Congresswoman, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez channeled Al Gore by stating that the world will end in 12 years if our taxes aren’t raised, and if we don’t have Medicare for all.

Shame is used for those who don’t follow the herd. Private citizens are outed in the media, and on social networks if they go against the establishment. Conservatives have been doxxed, and fired from their jobs. The schools of minors have received calls to expel students. Celebrities take to social networks to tell Conservatives not to listen to their music, and not to watch their low-rated shows or movies.

From Mark Levin’s Liberty and Tyranny:

For the statist, liberty is not a blessing but the enemy. It is not possible to achieve utopia if individuals are free to go their own way. The individual must be dehumanized and his nature delegitimized. Trough persuasion, deception, and coercion, the individual must be subordinated to the state. He must abandon his own ambitions to the state. He must become reliant on and fearful of the state. His first duty must be to the state- not family, community, and faith, all of which have the potential of threatening the state. Once dispirited, the individual can be molded by the state.

What other tactics can you think of that statists use to maintain their control over individuals?
